Dessert Table
Cake
The cake I special ordered from my baker after pursuing Pinterest for design ideas! I also purchased a cake topper design off of ETSY and had it personalized with my son’s name and I cut it out on my Cricut on blue glitter cardstock and hot glued on a stick for the topper.
Cupcakes
Cookies
Personalized Backdrop Banner
I found a personalized baptism banner off of Personal Creations website. I love how I was able to personalize with baby’s newborn photo and add his name and the date!
Table Settings
The table settings were very casual and not fancy. I got all of the decor from Party City. I found paper plates, napkins, paper cups, table decorations, plastic tablecloth and favor bags all in my chosen Baptism theme. I also found in them in the Clearance section! Most items were only $1! I always recommend checking out the sales sections!
Baptism Guest Favors
The guest favors were a cute mesh favor bag filled with hard candies. Very simple to find. The little bags even had a little cross on the top of the bag and in the color blue. I found these in the clearance section at Party City.
The cookie set I purchased turned out amazing and it was so fun to be able to have them personalized.
Make sure to put napkins at every food area. I always put the large napkins with the large plates for the meal and small napkins at the dessert station.
Baptism Outfits
If you are interested in the outfits we chose, I purchased both my dress and my son’s baptism outfit from Amazon. My son’s outfit was a very simple white satin outfit comprised of shirt, bow tie, vest, pants and shoes.
I hope you have been inspired by our simple Baptism for our son and if you are planning one, I have helped ease the stress of event planning for you!
