Thinking of a theme for a baby girl nursery was so easy for me! Florals of course! In fact some of my favorite florals are peony! Then I stumbled upon a pink peony floral wall and I was hooked. Its just such a pretty focal wall for a girl’s nursery.

Floral Peony Feature Wall
I also paired the floral wall with a beautiful floral dresser I had just done a makeover on! If you are interested in seeing the full makeover post on the dresser, I go into details and steps on how I transformed the dresser from plain cream to pink and gold with florals!
I had such a fun time putting the decals up on the wall. What is so great about these decals is that they can be moved without leaving residue on your walls and they are very easy to position and move if you are not happy with the results. The peonies are so large that its hard actually to put them in the wrong place! They are just so beautiful up on the wall.
If you are interested in a peony wall for yourself, here is where I purchased it. Just know ahead of time that these decals are high quality, which means they will not fall off the wall, they will not leave a residue, they look beautiful and are made with great materials. You can find them here!
My husband and I had a very long infertility journey of 10 years before we were lucky enough with IVF and were able to finally have our two precious babies and this was our pregnancy announcement !
Bookcase Makeover
My plan for the bookcase was to paint it out in chiffon cream chalk style paint and then add the cute little wood appliques to the corners of the bookcase. It just turned out so adorable!
Crib
I painted the crib in the room. It went from a dark cherry paint finish to this beautiful cream color! I have another post where I go into detail on how I painted the crib if you are interested in the transformation.
I also painted a small side table in the soft vintage pink chalk paint as well and added it to the end of the crib.
Armoire
I also added a much needed armoire for extra storage to the room. I painted it with hints of a soft vintage pink chalk paint and gold metallic paint on the wood appliques on the piece.
Small Details
I also added some small vintage details to the room. I found an old rocking horse and painted it in a soft pink chalk paint. I also found an old tin chest and painted the box and front tin in the soft pink chalk paint as well and re purposed it for a children’s toy box.
I added a fuzzy faux fur throw at the bottom of the crib as well for extra cozyness!
I hope I have been able to inspire you if you are wanting to set up a floral baby girl nursery with peony flower wall! Let me know what you think and tell me about your nursery!
