St. Patrick’s Day Decor on a Budget Ideas
In this post, I will give you great easy ideas for decorating for St. Patrick’s Day Decor on a budget! Most of my decor was from Dollar Tree! Who doesn’t love the Dollar Tree right ?! I love this decor idea. I do not normally decorate much for St. Patrick’s Day and its not a major holiday, so I decided to only decorate a small corner of my dining room. It still adds a pop of color for the holiday, but I also feel I am not overdoing the holiday within the rest of my home.

I like to decorate for all the seasons, but there are some occasions that I only wish to decorate a corner of my house. That was the case this year when I decided to decorate a corner for St. Patrick’s Day. I will show you how I did it!
Dollar Tree Items I Used for St. Patrick’s Day Decor
These are photos I took in Dollar Tree so you can see for yourself some of the items I did purchase there. This will give you an idea where in the store I found the items and what they actually look like in the packaging before I decorated.
How I Used Dollar Tree Supplies to Decorate for St. Patrick’s Day
Isn’t this the cutest door hanger? Yup, its from the Dollar Tree. So easy to hang and it’s cute and functional. I love the Dollar Tree for decor items as there is no way I could even make something like this for a $1!
I used one of the green hats and some clover garland to decorate my lantern. I love decorating lanterns for the seasons! It is such an easy and economical way to add seasonal decor to a small item that can be used all year round for all occasions. It is so fun to make a new bow and add a few decor elements easily and on a budget.
In this photo, there are several items from the Dollar Tree including the top hat, butterfly, faux rock, green hat, gnome, and candles. I also used my Cricut to cut a cute design in vinyl to put on my coffee mug which I purchased at Dollar Tree as well. I love making small projects with my cutting machine that is inexpensive and who doesn’t love a cute mug?
Wood Signs I made for St. Patrick’s Day Decor
The DIY wood signs I painted with vinyl stencil material and I used my Cricut to cut out the stencils. Please see my other blog posts for in-depth tutorials on how I paint my wood signs using vinyl stencils and my Cricut cutting machine!
I thought this gnome was so cute and I got him in the garden section of Dollar Tree. I purchased the buddha and the welcome statute as well at the Dollar Tree in the garden section.
It is always great to think outside of the box when looking at items for your seasonal decor. I decided to have a look in the Garden Section of the store and was pleasantly surprised to find quite a few items that I could incorporate into my St. Patrick’s Day Decor.
I went to the candle section of the Dollar Tree and just looked for any green candles that would fit with my green theme. I didn’t want to overpower the look with too many items that are specifically St. Patrick’s Day. Not only that, using generic type items in your decor display allows you to use the items in another way or for another project. I love mixing and matching decor items and it provides a lot of functionality if you can get items you can use for other projects.
I used the shamrock cutouts and fake dollar coins from the Dollar Tree to decorate the table. I always like to buy what is called table confetti. It is just small cut out items that can be placed along a tablescape to add an extra pop of color.
I hung this felt cut out I picked up at the Dollar Tree on my china cabinet to give the decor an extra pop of color.
I hope you enjoyed the ideas! Please comment or post your St. Patrick’s Day decor ideas! I can’t wait to see them!
