I had such a fun time designing and planning my son’s nursery. My hope is if you are planning on Peter Rabbit as well, that my ideas may inspire your child’s nursery!
My personal style is vintage. I just love old vintage fairy tales and when we found out we were having a boy and we decided on Peter for a middle name (after my dad and granddad); Peter Rabbit Nursery theme came to mind!

Speaking of the furniture, I sourced and chalk-painted all of the furniture. Check out my blog post HERE where I show you how I painted the crib! I also painted the changing table. rocker, nightstand, lamp, bookcase, and Armoire.
Furniture Transfers
I decided to add some fun and whimsy to the dresser! I found these adorable furniture transfers and I am in love with the results! These are the transfers I used HERE if you are interested!

There are a few DIY elements in this part of the room. I painted the changing table from a dated cherry finish to this finish. Check out my makeover on the changing table HERE
DIY Painted Wood Signs
I hand painted quite a few of my son’s wood signs in his room!
This one is one of my favorites, is a baby stats sign.
I also painted the sign that is sitting on the back ledge of the table. It’s a Peter Rabbit quote “Even the smallest one can change the world”.
If you are interested in a tutorial on how I make my wood signs, please check it out HERE!
I also added baby’s coming home outfit and vintage knitted sweaters and hats my grandmother made.
Rocking Corner
I had originally purchased a cherry wood glider chair and stool and painted it out with chalk paint.
Gallery Wall
I also had some old vintage frames I painted in a vintage blue color. I printed off some of the baby’s newborn photo shoot photos, added them to the frames and finished off the look with a satin blue ribbon bow.
Bedside Table
After
I also added the cute bunny transfer to his little bedside table right beside the rocker. So cute! Such an easy way to add small decorative details.
In the corner by the closet is a vintage Armoire. I painted this a baby blue chalk paint color. I also used gold metallic paint to paint out the details of the piece as well and which you can find HERE.

Round Nursery Sign
I had a round name sign made for above my son’s crib. You can order these name signs on Etsy! I asked the maker to add some vines and a white bunny rabbit. Just adorable!
Children’s Rocking Chair
I had such fun painting this little children’s rocking chair I found at a second-hand store. I’ve sat baby in the chair to take his Milestone photos and he loves rocking in it!
I painted the chair with chalk paint called Chiffon Cream and you can find it HERE; I also added some cute bunny transfers similar to the dresser.

Toybox Makeover
I found this beautiful vintage box at a vintage market and decided to paint it for the room. I also added a beautiful poem to the top of the toy box.
Rocking Horse
I found a vintage rocking horse at a local market. I decided to paint it out with chalk paint and I added my son’s name! Turned out so cute and he loves rocking on his chair!
Crib
After
Check out my post HERE where I show you exactly how I transformed my son’s crib into the Peter Rabbit themed crib you see here!
Crib Bedding
I was able to find this beautiful soft Peter Rabbit baby blanket off of Amazon. I was so happy with this purchase. Nice and light and soft beautiful blanket for baby! HERE is a link to the blanket if you are looking.
I also found this beautiful high quality Peter Rabbit fitted sheet set at Pottery Barn!
I also found a beautiful baby blue chenille fabric to go over the front of the rails to help with baby biting the crib especially since I painted his crib, I was more diligent to make sure he didn’t get paint in his mouth and the rail protector worked great and it was also so beautiful! If you are interested in one, you can find these on Etsy!
I also had a wooden name sign made for my son’s room. I painted it a cream color chalk paint and installed it on his door and it looks just darling!
So absolutely in love with the way my Peter Rabbit Nursery Decor turned out in my son’s nursery. I hope you have been inspired and please send me your photos or post one in the comments !
